The University of Texas Southwestern Center University Hospitals & Clinics Breast Imaging
Services will once again bring Mammography Screening to you. The University of Texas
Southwestern Medical Center’s Breast Digital Imaging unit will conduct mammography
screening on the City Hall Plaza Monday, October 27 and Thursday, October 30, 2008.
The screening is open to City of Dallas employees and the public Monday, October 27
and Thursday, October 30 from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
Most insurance plans, including Medicare, cover the cost of screening once a year. Please check with your plan.

Annual Holiday Cheer and Family Fun Event
Help make wishes come true this holiday season!
The Annual Holiday Cheer and Family Fun Event kicks-off with an Adopt-a-Family day in the lobby of City Hall.
This year with the assistance of our City Departments we have chosen to reach out to area schools that have identified families in need. In past years, it has been City of Dallas employees who have opened their hearts and eagerly and enthusiastically adopted many of the families… and we want to continue that opportunity and tradition this year too.
New Clothing, shoes, gift cards, toys and more are all needed. You will be able to read family profiles to learn each family’s needs and then choose the family you believe you can most help.
If you would like to help - or get a group of co-workers together to adopt-a-family – please attend our special family day scheduled for 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on October 31st..
